You know that feeling you get when a show closes and it is a bittersweet release of stress? Yeah, that's what I have going on right now. Closed The Whole Shebang on Sunday after a very well-recieved and attended one-act weekend at UPAC Theatre Group in Crown Hill. It was a great experience and I met some truly amazing people and talented artists. Might have even picked up a friend or two! All in all a great project to work on as my first dive into the huge theatre scene in Seattle.

Next on my mind is getting the scripts for the Cutest Shows on Earth down and ready for rehearsals in May. But before all that really kicks into high gear, I have a visit home to look forward to! And now it is officially almost here! Three weeks from today I will be getting on my red-eye and heading to Sweet Home Alabama for a visit with friends and family that is long overdue. AND my great boyfriend is taking me to Gulf Shores that weekend for some Vitamin D (Something I don't get enough of up here in the Pacific Northwest!).

I keep counting my blessings. I never thought that in my first couple of months living here in Seattle I would be blessed with so many opportunities and that I would already be TURNING DOWN roles! Talk about a complete 180 turn around from my college auditioning experience! :) I am thankful and so happy to be living in such a beautiful city, making great friends, and doing what I love to do. There's not much more I could ask for!

The Whole Shebang

So it is now towards the end of March and I have so much going on right now! Tonight was the preview audience and final dress for The Whole Shebang at UPAC Theatre Group and it went really well! It is amazing what having an audience can do for a show! It really is a cute and funny one act full of surprises!

One thing that I am kind of sad about is the fact that my family and friends cannot see my Seattle stage debut. Both my parent sent their love and "break-a-legs", but it is just not the same having them not able to attend a performance! But I guess that is what happens when you move 3,000 miles away from everyone! I'm sure they'll be able to see me one day work professionally!

I am also in the process of learning the scripts for The Cutest shows on Earth tours and I am very excited to get the ball rolling on this project. Check out more on my News tab!

Hope everyone is doing well, where ever you are reading this!

Live and Love,
Reagan

Hello there!

Life is putting along here in Seattle and I am working a full time job, rehearsing non stop for a one act that opens NEXT weekend and also trying to come up with an acceptable social life! Can you say hectic? Also, I am looking forward to my visit back to my home town in FIVE SHORT WEEKS! I cannot believe that I have already lived here for 2.5 months and that my visit is so close!

Not much has changed in my life since my last update, but I am still alive and doing well. Not auditioning quite as much now that I booked my children's tour for May-October because I believe it would be unfair of me to take up time and opportunity for others to audition when I know that I am unavailable to accept a possible role. But there are still a couple of local and student film auditions coming up that I am attending.

Its odd to think that just a year ago I was on Spring Break in New York City, performing in an Off-Broadway theatre with all of my classmates from the Class of '11 Senior Showcase. All of us are already doing so much in the world and we all seem to be happy. I hope that feeling and moment lasts for all of us. We have worked so hard and gone through so much. We will never give up, because whatever we decide we want from our lives, we will work until our goals are acheived. That's what Roll Tide spirit is.

Speaking of Roll Tide, yesterday I was at the mall wearing an Alabama sweatshirt, and a guy asked me why I didn't have an accent and told me I had a "TV Voice." THAT never gets old.

Tis all for now. If you happen to be in the Greater Seattle Area next weekend, come out and see The Whole Shebang!

Marching into March

So my Lent thing is going well, but it has been adjusted slightly. By "less lazy" I have taken that to mean less lazy in my career. On Ash Wednesday I called up almost every single agency in Seattle to book auditions with them and ask them about their new talent. I also took on some last minute auditions! They were so much fun and it was exhilarating to hurry out of my apartment and head straight to an audition.

I took on another shift at Great Play on Fridays, which means I work there SIX days a week, but hey a girl's gotta eat right? And hopefully this means I can start SAVING money and have that as a reserve on the side.

But, with March arriving and the trip home getting ever closer (less than 7 weeks!) I need to get my butt back in shape. My new goal for March (and thereafter) is to workout everyday and eat healthier. Today I worked out on the elliptical downstairs for 16 minutes and hope to go back down later this afternoon for more.

Tomorrow marks my first shift at the Northshore Great Play and it will be interesting working classes with new people at a new facility. Then I have two auditions; one for a play and one is an agency orientation. I am excited!

Life is staying busy and I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope everyone is enjoying their first day of March after the Leap Day yesterday. By the way, what women proposed and made good use of that Leap Day tradition? I sure didn't! Haha!

Live and Love,

Reagan

I graduated Cum Laude from The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Theatre and a Minor in Psychology in May 2011. Originally from Hoover, AL, I have known I was destined for greatness since I was four years old. I am not a picky eater and I love a good talk. In December 2011, I moved to Seattle to pursue my acting career! And after getting engaged to the man of my dreams, I moved back to Sweet Home Alabama in September 2014.
