Day two of birthday week. So far, I have had a cold and eaten all the things that are bad for me. I call it, my birthday week splurge. And I plan to get back on track in November. I don't see anything wrong with that.
In other news, I am turning the big 23. Actually, I don't really know how "big" 23 really is, but I know that my year will be different than any one I have had thus far in life. Student loan payments, living hundreds of miles away from everyone I know, and starting a exciting albeit scary career.
Life is great and it is so rewarding to look back at who I was when I hit milestones like 15, 16, 18, and 21 and see how much has changed and what good things have remained the same. Yes there have been good times and bad, laughter and tears, but it has all brought me to here and now, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
