A busy and eventful day thus far. With the helpfulness of strangers with my obnoxiously large luggage (yay for checking in TWO bags?) and having a travel buddy along the way I have made it to the A15 terminal at Newark Airport.
More than ever I am ready to be home with family and friends. Today is an important day in the lives of many people. Football in the South is a "religion", but today it is also a celebration of the determined spirit of those in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and the South as a whole. Those lost on April 27, 2011 will never be forgotten and the rebuilding efforts will never weaken. We are one and we will never be down.
Roll Tide Nation! :) A big thank you goes out to the team from Kent State for their efforts in rebuilding in Tuscaloosa this week prior to their game again the Crimson Tide today.
I am thankful for the experiences, friendships, and memories I have made here this summer and I am very excited to see what will develop in my next chapter, "post-college." It's terrifying to think that in a few short months I will be across the country from everyone I know and care about with no one really there to "take care of me," but I think I am closer to being ready for the adventure.
Here's to Timber Lake, Bunk 7, Inside Jokes, Monday Day Off, Buckskill, HCDC and all those that were there for the tears, laughs, and "fun" nights. Thank you.
Live and Love,
Reagan
