After spending the entire summer at camp, making friends and memories that are unforgettable, I have a two week stint in the HAMPTONS(!!!) teaching and being a counselor at a sister camp, Hampton Country Day Camp. At this camp I will only work days and will work with younger children. I am really excited about this!
Then I venture back to the humid South and work full time, over time, all the time, to make some moola (ker-ching) to save up for SEATTLE! I plan to move to Seattle no later than January 5th 2012.
I have already started consolidating my things in my apartment so that when I move I will have only the things I need. Because heaven knows, I am an admitted hoarder and I do sometimes (almost always) have trouble throwing things out or giving them away. But I have begun the process. You would be proud. :)
Tomorrow I venture to the beach with the other officers of APO to have a much needed relaxation weekend and then we head into the final lap of college. UA has been great to me and it really is hard to believe that I will be leaving here, but it is time for a change.
